Teaching
Teaching, technical training, and research mentorship at NTU.
Teaching
Introduction to Aerial Robotics — NTU EEE outreach, 2022–present. Lectures and hands-on sessions introduce prospective students to aerial robots, sensing, autonomy, and robotic system design.
Engineering Mathematics (EE2006) — Teaching Assistant, 2015–2016. Tutorials covered linear algebra, calculus, differential equations, Fourier analysis, Laplace transforms, and numerical methods. I also developed an online scoring and marking system to support assessment and feedback.
Project supervision and research mentorship
- PhD research, 2019–present: co-mentored more than 12 PhD students and research projects in planning, control, perception, SLAM, and robot learning.
- MSc dissertations, 2019–present: co-supervised more than 25 projects, from problem definition and implementation to experiments and publication.
- Undergraduate final-year projects (EE4080), 2015–present: guided 29 NTU EEE/REP project groups and delivered practical robotics workshops.
- Design and Innovation Projects (EE2073 / EE3180), 2015–present: developed robotics, automation, and IoT project topics and mentored student teams.
Technical workshops
I have organized eight workshops and tutorials on ROS, robotics software development, experimental workflow, research collaboration, and academic writing. Student-led projects developed through this mentorship have produced more than 60 accepted papers in venues including ICRA, IROS, CVPR, AAAI, and IEEE RA-L.
